FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If your question is not listed here, feel free to drop me a message on Instagram, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible!
During the 30 - 40 minute call, I will find out more about your fitness goals, training history, lifestyle, injuries and medical conditions. I will also share my approach to coaching, rates, and what you can expect.
At the end of the session, you can ask me anything that you're unsure of!
Don't worry, I will not be pushing sales! Looking for a personal trainer is a very personal journey, and I want all my clients to be ready before they start their fitness journey with me ☺
More details in the post below!
Online Personal Training
I am currently only doing online personal training.
I take GymGirls with at least 1 year lifting experience for online PT! If you're comfortable with working out on your own (your exercise form doesn't have to be perfect because we can work on that together) and doesn't need someone to be there watching you workout real time, then this is for you! All workouts are fully customised based the information I gather from our introductory call, and there will be videos provided for each of the exercises. I will also have a weekly accountability call with you to keep you accountable, and to run our weekly lessons with the goal of getting you independent!
If you need ad hoc sessions to go through form in person, the sessions will be conducted in Woodleigh with my Associate Trainer (most of the time, we're able to correct it online with me, don't worry).
In-Person Personal Training
New location from July 2025: Woodleigh!
For those who are looking for face-to-face sessions/have less than 1 year lifting experience, my associate trainer, who will be guiding you with the same training principles, will be taking clients in Woodleigh!
Each session will be 1 hour.
In the first few sessions, we will be doing warm-up, workout and cool-down with you.
Once you become familiar with the warm-up and cool-down exercises, you will do them on your own, outside of session time.
We conduct resistance training with most of our students because it's the most essential if you have any physique goals (fat loss/toning/building muscle).
There will also be weekly lessons and discussions that we will cover, as education is essential to your success.
Any cardio work will be done on your own time, and may or may not be included into your program, depending on your goals.
I believe meal plans are too rigid and unsustainable. It only works when the personal trainer is around to provide one, and does not teach the student to the independent.
Everyone has different preferences and food cultures, and I believe there is no one-size-fits-all meal plan. I provide guidance to my students in finding the best diet style and food alternatives for themselves, and learning how to eat even when I'm not around.
However, depending on circumstances, I can also provide meal plans for my students.
